Born in 1957, in Brighton East Sussex on the South Coast of England.
The Atlantic Ocean has a great influence on my work, not only the activity surrounding it but also my great concern about over fishing of the sea. Some of my latest work features spiralling fish, which unless managed more efficiently will become severely depleted.
My work is figurative, through to non representational with a strong emphasis on texture and colour. Quite often I use pools of light in paint to evoke a dream-like quality inviting the viewer to place their own interpretation on the painting.
I work mostly with acrylic and mixed media on canvas.
I have had numerous 'one man shows' as well as running my own Studio - Gallery for the past 15 years.
During the last ten years, I have won commissions for 'Lloyds of London', 'Chichester Diocesan Housing Association' and 'Lloyds Private Banking'.
Most of my work hangs in private collections around the world.
